Testing consisted of full AirPods battery discharge while playing audio until the first AirPod stopped playback. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.

The playlist consisted of 358 unique audio tracks purchased from the iTunes Store (256Kbps AAC encoding). Volume was set to 50% and Spatial Audio was disabled. Testing involved fully discharging the AirPods while playing audio until one AirPod stopped playback. The drained AirPod was charged to 100%, then audio playback was resumed until one AirPod stopped playback. This cycle was repeated until both AirPods and the charging case were fully discharged. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.

The product, including the charging case, was tested under controlled laboratory conditions, and has a rating of IP54 under IEC standard 60529.
